Allegedly a group of "travellers" demanded a £1,500.00 ransom from a Premiership Rugby Club in order to vacate their stadium car park. The group set up camp in the car park and moved two caravans, a motor home and three other vehicles onto the site.
An East London couple have been jailed for harassment after they sent a birthday card to the Judge's home address. The couple were involved in a contentious litigation case in the family courts which concerned the adoption of children. They had been a party to these proceedings before the Judge, for about 2 years, when they wrote a birthday card to the Judge's home address saying, 'keep up the good work stealing for profit'.
