Wesleyan Group Acquires Dental Plan Provider DPAS

A Birmingham-based financial services group has acquired a Wiltshire-based dental plan provider to strengthen its presence in the dental market.

Wesleyan Group, which already provides a range of personal and commercial services to the dental profession, has added DPAS, a provider of practice-branded dental plans, to its acquisition portfolio alongside the already incorporated Practice Plan.

Craig Errington, chief executive at Wesleyan Group, said:

"The acquisition of DPAS will enable Wesleyan to strengthen its commercial offering in the dental market where we have a strong presence through other parts of the group including Practice Plan.

Subject to regulatory approval, this latest acquisition will make Wesleyan Group the second largest provider of dental membership plans in the UK.
