London Compromise Solicitors

A dispute with your employer can be a difficult one to resolve, and a tribunal may feel like the only option..

Compromise Agreements are the simplest way of handling disputes. This action allows an employer to pay an employee a certain amount of money in return for waiving certain rights and forms a Contract so that the employee won't bring a subsequent claim in an employment tribunal.

One of the benefits is that payment, up to the sum of £30,000, can be free of tax. As for fees involved the employer is generally responsible for covering the legal costs.

The process is relatively routine and is turned around as quickly as possible.

The duty of the solicitor acting for the client is to provide an overview of the rights that are given up through signing the agreement.

London Compromise Agreement Solicitors, Lee Chadwick will also take time to look into the background of what has happened and any particular concerns for the employer or employee.

Our solicitor will carefully discuss the rights that are being waived and ensure each individual has a full understanding of what will happen and what would have happened if there'd been a tribunal.

The end goal of the Agreement is that each party is left satisfied, they have avoided a potentially nasty and expensive court case, and the employee has been provided with a fair payout.
