Pre-Paying For Your Funeral

Does pre-paying for your funeral sound like a good idea? Mr Wootton, explains to the Daily Telegraph why he did just that and took care of everything in advance with a "funeral plan".

By pre arranging your funeral it can take the stress and financial strain off your loved ones once you are gone. No one wants to pass on stress and worry to their family and friends after they die. This is why Wootton did it all himself, said the Telegraph.

Dignity, the UK's leading provider of funeral plans report that the cost of funerals has doubled in the last ten years and they now predict that the increase won't stop there, predicting that funeral costs will increase to almost £5,000 by 2017.

Having a funeral plan in place now might be considered a good idea, this will cover the costs of a traditional cremation or burial and no matter how much prices rise in the future this price will be the same.

Mr Wootton explains that "The Plan is inflation proof and it makes good financial sense to pay in advance. With the initial freezing of assets the Plan provides the funds to pay for the funeral expenses required".

There are many payment options out there and it's all very easy.

Mr Wootton found out that it was simple too saying, "The application form is simple to complete and we conveniently spread our payments over 12 months, without an extra charge."
