Paedophile caught with homemade 'child abuse' board game

Paul Emsley has been banned from having access to the internet after having a history of child sex crimes.

The paedophile had a 'homemade child abuse board-game' under his bed which was found when police called to his address.

Burnley Crown Court heard making the game meant Mr Emsley, 47, had breached a lifetime sexual offences prevention order.

Paul Emsley of Padiham, Lancashire, had got the order after being filmed having sex with a 12 year old boy.

In 1999, he was jailed for 45 months for that offence after threatening to kill the school boy if he told anyone about the assault.

He was also jailed in 2012, for two and a half years, when he was caught downloading hundreds of child porn images.

His homemade board game was uncovered when Lancashire police visited his home for an unrelated matter.

Judge Jonathon Gibson, sentenced him to 18 months in prison and issued him with a fresh order- to prevent him having any unsupervised contact with under 16 boys.
