Ridge Walk Scunthorpe

Police Warn Walkers After a Series of Indecent Exposure Reports

Police have warned walkers using the Ridge Walk footpath in Scunthorpe to be on their guard following a number of reported indecent exposures in the area.

Humberside Police, who's officers are appealing for witnesses or information following reports of a man exposing himself, have increased their patrols as a result of reports made between 30th July and 8th August.

Detective Inspector Lee Bridgeman said:

"We would urge anyone with information about the identity of this man or men to come forward.

"Given the similarity in the descriptions, it is likely these offences are being committed by one person.

"Humberside Police takes incidents of this nature seriously and are doing everything possible to catch the person responsible."

Witnesses have so far described the suspect as male, white-skinned, of large build and aged between 20-30 years of age.

If you've been arrested and charged with indecent exposure, contact our criminal solicitors on 0845 603 0708 for advice.
